CAMPAIGN FOR THE CANYONS
San Diego’s canyons are closer than we think and more important than we know! They’re living landscapes that connect us with nature, buffer climate impacts, shelter wildlife, and help make our region a place we’re proud to call home.
This year, we’re launching Campaign for the Canyons, with a goal of raising $50,000 to help more San Diegans discover their local canyons, understand what makes them special, and become part of its future.
Give once or make it monthly! Sustaining thriving urban canyons requires year-round dedication. Pledge your support below by becoming a donor before 2027!
About San Diego Canyonlands
Canyonlands uplifts communities by connecting people with nature through ecosystem restoration, workforce development, environmental education and advocacy, and by harnessing the mutually beneficial power of conservation to safeguard biodiversity and improve quality of life.
San Diego is home to more than 150 remarkable living canyons, natural and cultural treasures woven into our neighborhoods, communities, and everyday lives. Yet many people never have the opportunity to discover what these special places offer, let alone understand the challenges they face or see how much they matter to our region. San Diego Canyonlands is here to change that. We’re building the knowledge and partnerships that help individuals, schools, community groups, and agencies explore and care for these extraordinary public landscapes. To everyone who supports the canyons, thank you. Your generosity helps bring people closer to nature and turn shared concern into meaningful action.
